How is exact age counted?

The calculator counts whole years first, then whole months, then the days left over, using the real length of each month. A person born on 15 June 1990 is 36 years, 3 months and 16 days old on 1 October 2026.

Total days is the plain count of days between the two dates. For a birthday on 29 February, the next birthday falls on 1 March in years that are not leap years.

Example

Born on 15 June 1990 and checked on 1 October 2026: 36 years, 3 months and 16 days old. That is 13,257 days or 435 months, born on a Friday, with the next birthday 257 days away.

Can I find age on a past or future date?
Yes. Change the second date to any day on or after the birth date.
Does it use my time zone?
It works with calendar dates only, so there are no time zone effects.
Is my date of birth stored?
