What stays on your device

Numbers you type and files you choose are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.

To make the site easier to use, your browser stores your language, your chosen currency and the last values you entered in a tool. This is saved in your own browser storage and you can clear it at any time.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people find us. It may collect your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view and cookie identifiers. We use this to improve the site and do not use it to identify you personally.

If you send us a report or email

The Report an issue form sends us the tool name, the type of problem and the message you write. To limit abuse, we keep a short coded value derived from your IP address, not the address itself. Emails to info@thefreetool.com are kept as long as we need to answer them.

Please do not include personal or sensitive information in a message.

Hosting and third parties

Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, time and page requested, for security and troubleshooting. Links to other websites are governed by their own policies.

Advertising

We do not show ads today. If we add them, such as Google AdSense, ad partners may use cookies to show relevant ads. We will update this policy and our cookie policy before that happens.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser, clear stored data for this site, or use Google's opt-out add-on for analytics. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. Write to info@thefreetool.com and we will help.

We do not sell your personal data. Our site is not aimed at children under 13.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the bottom of the page shows the latest version.
