How does merging a PDF work?
A PDF is a set of pages. Merging copies the pages of every file, in your order, into one new document. The pages are copied as they are, so text, images and layout stay the same.
The tool runs in your browser, so your documents are never sent to a server. That matters when you are joining things like contracts, ID copies or bank statements. Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged. Remove the password first, then add the file.
A common use
You have a scanned form, a photo ID and a bank statement as three separate PDFs, and a website wants a single file. Add the three, put them in the order the site asks for, and merge.
