Random Number Generator

Set a lowest and highest number, choose how many you want and press Generate. Tick the box if you do not want any number twice.

What it does

  • Any range of whole numbers, including negatives
  • One number or up to 1,000 at a time
  • Option for no repeated numbers
  • One click to copy the result

How to use it

  1. Enter the lowest and highest number.
  2. Enter how many numbers you want, and tick unique if no repeats.
  3. Press Generate, then copy the result.

How random is it?

The numbers come from your browser's secure random generator, the same source used for cryptography. Every number in the range has the same chance, and the code avoids the small bias that simple methods can introduce.

It is fine for games, picking a winner, choosing a sample or settling a decision. It is not an official lottery or draw, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Example

Range 1 to 100, count 5, unique ticked: you might get 62, 7, 91, 33, 48. Press Generate again for a fresh set.

Questions people ask

Can the same number appear twice?

What if I ask for more unique numbers than the range holds?
The tool gives you as many as exist in the range and tells you so.
Can I use decimals?
This tool picks whole numbers only.
